How could we pass on Erin Henderson, AGAIN!?
Before the draft, I thought he would at least get drafted in the third round. Right now, we're half-way through the 6th LOL!
C'mon! I believe Erin is in top 5 at linebacker in this draft and so do many experts. Maybe E.J. has personally said he doesn't want his little brother on the team just to pisss his brother of ...

Re: John Sullivan
this is a good pick at the spot we got him. obviously we already have a starter, but it is nice to already have his replacement. from what i understand, a lot of people ranked him pretty high, and as high as the 3rd roudn (si.com).
We're bringing purple back.

Re: John Sullivan
I like it.
NFL Network mentioned him yesterday as a good C prospect.

But you have to know that this staff seems to follow true with drafting talent that matches the scheme vice just talent."Garland" wrote:

Again, probably why we as fans see good players passed up by our team.
IMHO it is the right thing to do.
Gaurantees that the players are what the coaches want/need to execute thier scheme. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

It's about time! Finally someone from the front office is reading my posts.I like the pick and this should (maybe) make Singer Happy.
The book has him as a 4th round pick.
Says he is a smart center who has a thick lower body and fits in the ZB scheme in support of the run but will struggle in pass protection.
Also say that his ability to pull isn't one of his strengths (I don't think that is a issue in this scheme cause we pull our G and T more than our C).
One of his strenghts I like is that he is smart and communicates well to the OL with respect to Stunt and Blitz adjustments.
Says he has all the tools to be a starter at the next level but will need a couple of years to get ready.
My take is the guy needs to add a few pounds but should be a good option at C.
Now we will at least have a couple of options between Sullivan & Mozes of who will be the heir apparent instead of it being given to one person, not necessarily because he is maybe good but because he was the ONLY one on the depth chart.
At least now, the back up position will need to be earned instead of just be given to one person on a silver platter without proving himself.
I love competition for the depth spots & that's the way it should be.

Overview
One of the quickest receivers in this year's class, Johnson is explosive as a receiver and return man. He caught 66 balls for 1,140 yards (17.3 per) and nine touchdowns and averaged 10.9 on 43 punt returns (with two scores) in his last two seasons. He couldn't crack the All-SWAC teams, but Johnson will have a great chance at achieving two other goals: being an NFL draft pick and making a NFL roster......
