That would be amazing if we could snag up Edge, and then go after an o-line. Hutch, Runyan, or Bentley would all look great in purple.

Plus am I the only one that made the connection....

    I am skeptical.

He is paid to throw opinions out there like that and he looks like a genius if he nails it.

I do like Clayton though, and Edge.

I guess this is good news...I hope we don't overpay him....I'm not a big Edge fan- nothing agianst him. I just wonder if he is really that good, let's remember he had Peyton and an amazing WR corp to scare off any defense. That offense in Indy is set-up to score maximum points....

Do you think he'll fit into our WCO? Personally I don't believe in TYPES of RB, I think they're all the same. If you're truly good you can suceed in any type of offense.

That said, I hope we get him and draft Greenway!

    Thanks for the Sig LitlHarsh

John Clayton is one of the few people who I like to hear from on ESPN and while I would rather see us draft a guy in the first round I guess Edge or Shaun would be a good investment considering that it seems to be getting less likely that we will sign Hutchinson or Bentley in FA and who knows if we will keep Fonoti so we may see if more experience will help Goldberg and Herrera.

This is deff some great news to come home too!!! This made my night....I really think we'll have one of these backs, Edge fits the WCO better tho IMO.

    Skeptical? I'm more than skeptical.

I can't believe people think just cause John says so, it will happen.

He may be one of the best commentaters that ESPN has, but that doesn't make it fact nonetheless.

IMO, he is basing his GUESS that Edge could end up in MN, based on the fact that we not only do we need to sign a power back, but we have one of the best cap room in the league & an owner willing to spend money.
