Joey Harrington?

Anybody else think that the Vikes ought to take a shot at signing Joey Harrington? He has said that he'd be happy with a number two spot, as long as it was with a team that's worth a crap. Perhaps I'm skewed because I'm a U of Oregon alumni and I've always cheered for Joey, but I think he still has potential!

ummmm... no thanks! If he couldn't do anything on the Lions with all that talent, there is no way that he could do anything here. I want a QB for the future, not one that would make us the laughing stock of the league. We've been there too many times.

I would sign him to back up BJ. Joey could still reach his potential if he got the hell out of detroit and with 1-2 years on the bench watching BJ. He has previous "west coast" exp & even today is as good as any other back-ups out there. He will also probably come cheap.

Also, I did it in madden and it worked out but I was yelling "Damnit Joey!" alot.

You have got to be kidding. He has been a huge bust and one of the worst starting qbs in the league the past 4 years.

I think he'd be a worthwhile backup to sign. He hasn't had a decent line in Detroit so we don't know what he's really got in him

No way do I want Joey, he may be a great guy or whatever, but he can't play NFL football for crap

I'm not sure we want to invest that much in our practice squad.
