Jim Leonhard
I think we should sign him to provide depth or possibly start at saftey and return punts.

Re: Jim Leonhard
He had a few good games with the Ravens , but Brian Russell could have a few good games with the Ravens.

Re: Jim Leonhard
I would rather have a larger, faster safety.
(5'8" 185).
That is Winfield size right their.

We could wait one more year for this guy!
He is a "Taylor-type" safety.
(6'3" 230)

Taylor Mays is a beast.
Tyrell Johnson has some pretty serious measurables though. I think he should pan out into a good player. With him and Madieu back there safety wouldn't be at the top of our list of priorities.
If we want to bring someone in for safety depth and punt returns we should go after Rossum. He'll come cheap. He's not much of a safety, but he's an excellent return man.

Re: Jim Leonhard
I don't think Leonhard will command a big pay day.
He's a good saftey with solid playoff expierence,
comes from a good defense and is explosive with the ball in his hands.
Plus he's still young.
All quallities we should look for in players we add to a young and talented roster.

Re: Jim Leonhard
I have a question though. I don't see him on the free agent list.

I would rather have a guy who can hit and is a threat to make a big play preventing the offense from scoring or getting a big gain.
He is too small IMO; CB small.
