With Porter on one side and Williamson on the other side, I would have to think Gray is praying for a very strong running game.

    Garrard?
Part of me really wants to tell you that I was factoring in Garrard getting hurt and being replaced by Quinn but I think I will just take my lumps and stand corrected ;D ;D ;D ;D

    HA!!

I think Gray left as well too

    So Cleo now?
    yeah...
    That's what I meant ;D

If Cleo comes in and Gararrd gets hurt im buying you a ticket to go somewhere with me to bet on teams

    Deal?
    [/quote]

Done. But we better beware the green dot ;D

I imagine that this has been mentioned in one of the many FA threads floating around today, but I looked through the FA Forum and didnt see any thread stating it directly, but Jacksonville has signed Jerry Porter thus taking one of our potential second choices behind Berrian off the board.

Interesting that the Jags are definitely revamping things at WR what wiht Porter and Williamson new to the fold.
What is the deal with Matt Jones, is this his 3rd year, I know he has been a dissapointment, but I didnt know what his exact status was with JAX.

There's been some tumult in the Jaguars' receiving corps lately, with Troy Williamson coming and Ernest Wilford going. And that's for good reason; those guys just haven't been very good (shockingly, though, Matt Jones is still gainfully employed). But adding former Raider Jerry Porter will help.

Not any more...torn hammy. May be gone for the season. More pressure on TWill.

I didn't think he is done for the season.
Last I heard he would be back for the beginning of the season.

I heard that too...but when I hear "torn", I think in months, not weeks.

    He had surgery.
I only know what I heard on Sirius, haven't seen or looked for anything in print.

Del Rio was quoted as saying he will be ready.
The guys discussing it we also doubtful.

LOL, Twill is shaking in his cleats.
    Oh the pressure!

I'm certain Twill is one of those rare atheletes who will rise to the occasion rather than cave in to the pressure of being suddenly thrust into the number one receiver role!

Yea, because that affected him so greatly when THE BALL HIT HIM IN THE HANDS AND HE DROPS IT AND FALLS OVER

I heard it is a complicated offense that takes 3-5 years to learn so I don't expect much of him before he is eligible for social security
