Jerry Porter off the board to JAX
I imagine that this has been mentioned in one of the many FA threads floating around today, but I looked through the FA Forum and didnt see any thread stating it directly, but Jacksonville has signed Jerry Porter thus taking one of our potential second choices behind Berrian off the board.
Interesting that the Jags are definitely revamping things at WR what wiht Porter and Williamson new to the fold.
What is the deal with Matt Jones, is this his 3rd year, I know he has been a dissapointment, but I didnt know what his exact status was with JAX.

The Jaguars Finally Have a Number One Receiver in Jerry Porter
There's been some tumult in the Jaguars' receiving corps lately, with Troy Williamson coming and Ernest Wilford going. And that's for good reason; those guys just haven't been very good (shockingly, though, Matt Jones is still gainfully employed). But adding former Raider Jerry Porter will help.

With Porter on one side and Williamson on the other side, I would have to think Gray is praying for a very strong running game.

Yeah, with a dude with half the legs he used to have on one side and a dude with no hands on the other, the Jags will be a real threat in the air! With Porter on one side and Williamson on the other side, I would have to think Gray is praying for a very strong running game.
It'll make a good feel-good story for kids with no arms and legs around the world.
You give us all hope Jacksonville!
