Jeff Saturday to test FA

Did a search and didn't see this posted already.

Not sure if this would be a good pickup, but Birk isn't getting any younger... We are in a "Win Now" league... granted, Saturday is 33 and not getting any younger, he should be a great center for the next 2-3 seasons.

I think Birk is declining fast... but that's just my opinion. Not sure if we need two declining centers on the team, but Saturday is still a pretty good Center that has played under Payton Manning his entire career.

I'd give Sullivan a chance for sure...

But Cook has got to go. He couldn't handle DEs as a Tackle, no way in hell he's handling DTs as a Center.

I agree. I think he is a backup and nothing else.

With respect to Matt, I know I am of the minority here about his level of play, but I just quake at watching guys come up the middle on us for another full season.

I like the idea of Sullivan getting a chance, however, as my good friend Singer says, what has he proven so far.

I would love to see a quality center, who along with Hutch and Herrera, can hold a pocket in front of TJ (or any QB) next year.

That would fix alot of woes......Mostly it would allow our Tackles to take guys deep/around the QB, especially the fast edge rusher types.
