I think he has done real well considering how many different offensive coordinators he has played with. I would be kind of excited if he were to become a Viking.

    Jason Campbell Is “Pissed”

But apparently not pissed in a way that will prompt Campbell to whine and cry for a trade of his own.
As we hear it, Campbell is using the situation as motivation to make himself into a better quarterback.

Made me think about ole TJ.

Even though most yutz fans (and the local news hacks) don't believe it, but the Vikes have been linked to almost every QB rumor out there, and yet not a peep.

Linked to Lord Dickhead (thank the good Lord that didn't pan out).
    Linked to D-Nab
    Linked to Sage (Last year)
Low and behold Gus shows up.
Low and behold Sage shows up.
    Linked to Cutler.

I still don't think he is gonna be ready this year (hope he suprises me) but you gotta love the makeup of the kid.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

    Jason Campbell

If the Foreskin's go after Sanchez, they will be looking to ship off Jason Campbell.
I'd love to see the Vikes nab him after seeing him play so efficiently in the 1st half of the season.
The guy has never had time to develop in one system, and I think he still has potential.
We'd have to trade off one of our guys or let them go (so idk how probable a trade for him is), but I was just wonderin what yall thought about putting him in Purp.

I wouldn't mind it, he'd likely be an upgrade over TJ/Sage

With the draft just two days away, we are bound to start hearing some crazy stuff.

Enter Jason Campbell. According to Pro Football Talk, if the Seahawks do not select Matt Sanchez, there is a strong possibility that the Redskins (who are for some reason in love with Sanchez) may trade up to get him at pick No. 5!

Campbell has shown that he can be an elite quarterback at times. Last year, he had three straight games where he beat the Saints, Cardinals, and Cowboys in Dallas and posted at least a 100 QB rating.
Basically so did TJ in 2008 and 2007.
However, he closed out the season last year on shaky ground, throwing five TDs to six INTs, and never having a higher quarterback rating than 89.4. He also finished the year with a 2-6 record, including a loss to the 49ers.
TJ only threw 2 INTs last year and 12 in 2007.

Campbell’s career quarterback rating is 80.4, which is an upgrade compared to Tarvaris Jackson’s 76.5.
Not by much. TJs career completion % is 58.4 and Jason's is 59.7.
It is safe to say the Vikings would at least lose one of their top two picks, and maybe a player or a late round pick.
Why the hell would we want to do that. If we passed on Cutler, there is no way in hell we give up the draft for this guy. No thanks.

Sage yeah, but how can you say that about Booty?
    We've barely seen him play.
