Jarvis Moss Declares for the NFL Draft

I was just watching ESPN and it said that Florida's defensive end Jarvis Moss will be entering the NFL draft.

This is prett big news IMO. I've really liked what I've seen from this guy, he's insanely fast for DE and an amazing athlete. Against South Carolina he blocked a field goal and an extra point.

If there is one defensive end I would take it is him, like I said before, he's lightning fast off the edge, and a great athlete. 6'6 255, 4.6 40, and I'm sure his vertical is crazy too.

He isn't even mentioned on most mock draft and other sites, so I think we might be able to get him in the second round; however, after the combine I'm sure his stock will rise significantly.

I think having a 3 man defensive end rotation of Erasmus James, Kenechi Udeze, and Jarvis Moss would be spectacular. What I think we would do there is bring in both James and Moss on passing downs to really bring a speed rush and pressure off the edge, something we clearly lacked this year. And then on rushing downs, bring in Udeze for either Moss or James, whichever needs the rest.

I think the Moss-Williams-Williams-James pass rush would be unbelievable, Kevin and Pat in the middle, one of them most likely taking a double team, and the fast men on the edge bringing the tackles out wide and into the backfield with their speed alone would allow Kevin or Pat to break free and really disrupt the QB. I'm getting really excited about this, so I think I may be repeating myself, and might be kind of incoherent, but I don't care. I want this guy in purple next season.

If there is a way we could acquire another first round pick through a trade, such as Smoot and a 3-4th round pick, or one of our underperforming linemen to a team like the Ravens, Chiefs, Cowboys, or Dolphins, who are all need to solidify their offensive line, and won't all be able to do it through free agency. Anyway, if there was a way to get another first rounder(if necessary) to get this way, we should.

    Round 1: Calvin Johnson
    Round 1/2: Jarvis Moss

A receiver at #7 and a defensive end in the mid to late first round..... sounds an awful lot like 2005 all over again, but much better this time!

    I very excite!

    Jarvis Moss is a stud.
He is my favorite player on defense.
I think he will be a true NFL talent.
We need him but 1st round is way to high.
    2nd round 7th pick.

Some other gators I like are Tebow, Harvin, and Baker.

But they're both early first rounders. I'm not advocating taking a DE at 7. That is for Calvin Johnson, but if we pick a defensive end later on, I definitely want Moss.

I would like us to do something to get a pass rush off the ends since it might also allow K-Will to get back to 10 sack form without everybody doubling him. However Mr. Anderson your three man rotation is not accurate it would be Darrion Scott along with Moss and James he is much better then Udeze and I don't understand how you would make a case for Udeze still being on the roster much less in the rotation.

I think as long as the Vikings sign anyone named Moss, Mr. Anderson will be happy.

We need speed and Jarvis Moss brings that to the table.

His attitude, work ethic, and athletic ability are all great qualities we need on our team.

    Yes everybody here loves Tebow.
    He is just crazy fast.
