    Jake Plummer vs. Byron Leftwich

    Okay Viking fans...
I do believe we will be making a push for a true #1 and #2 at the QB position.
Brooks is not a true asset, even at #3 or #15.
In the end, I think we may end up pushing for either Plummer or Leftwich.

    I would take Leftwich.
I would rather get Matt S. from Atlanta but I don't see that happening.

    Whats the thoughts?

Really? And what makes you believe that?

I've read countless times that Childress is content with TJ and Bollinger going into next season. He even went as far as saying that he may not even bring in a third qb.

Leftwich is too injury prone, I'm not sure about that idea.

I know what Childress says, however, I do believe he is not real excited about Brooks.
We all love T-Jack and want to see him get the ball as a starter!
Still, having a proven veteran who Childress could feel comfortable putting on the field would be ideal.

We all read the press releases and get caught up in it.
Lets just see what happens in the next few months.
I think Childress will make a move for Plummer.
    Lets see!

Plummer couldnt even succeed in Denver, a team that actually had decent WRs, what could he do for us?

    Correct!
Being down here in Bronco land, I know he sucks!
I am not picking Plummer but I think Childress would.

We're not getting either of them.
We won't pony up to assets for Leftwich and Plummer wants to be a starter and we are looking for a third or maybe 2nd string guy to be a mentor if Brad leaves.
Anthony Wright will probably be our QB signing.
When it s all said and done, you ll have to admit we re number 1!

After his dismal first season coaching, do we really think that he is making the correct choices?

    Anthony Wright?
Why do you think this could be our QB signing?

    Childress is all about secrets.
Heck, the guys din't even know who was playing until game day (damn near).
No one but Childress or Tomlin could even talk to the media.
    Spielman...
Okay, he never says anything anyway.

Time will tell, but I get the feeling Childress will bring in a true veteran.
I wouldn't even bet all my chestnuts that T-Jack is his solid pick at this point.

    Who knows?

Re: Jake Plummer vs. Byron Leftwich

I am also guessing that we will be bringing in a QB.
My gut feeling is that he likes Jackson, and will be sitting down with him and explaining his future with the team, and explaining why we will be bringing in another veteran.
You don't pick a QB in the 2nd round and just abandon hope on him, especially since we traded for him, and there were other competent players waiting to be drafted.

My gut feeling is that it may be Plummer that we would bring in.
He fits our system a tad bit better.
However, I think Jackson would learn more from Leftwich, as I think he is smarter than Plummer.

    Just my thoughts

    SKOL!!!
