Re: Jackson is solution, not problem, for Vikings

I still think T.J. was a reach, but the bottom line is if we don't get some skill players who can catch the ball it will not matter if T.J., Quinn, Moon, Tarkenton, or Kramer is the QB.

    I somewhat disagree...

If Moon, Tarkenton, or Kramer were our QB this year (assuming they were young and healthy of course)
I think our odds of winning would be greatly increased.

With that said I completely agree with your point.
If TJ is going to be our QB next season, I'd hate to see his confidence get shattered due to poor play directly related to the fact we don't have many targets available to him.

Yes, our chances would be much improved with Tarkenton, Moon, or Kramer, maybe even with Bob Lee, probably not Lee, ha ha

Tarkenton called his own plays. We would be much better with him!

I just get the gut feeling that this guy won't ever get shaken.

His actions over the last year are what my gut feeling is based on.

    a.
    Basically hasn't left the complex.
    b.
Got high praise from our staff and other beat writers about how quick he picked(s) things up.
    c.
Looked good in training camp/pre-season (for what those are worth)
    d. Looked decent in two reliefs and yes, kept his composure during 2 arrssss whoopins

    I really like the kid.
    ;D

    me too.
i think he gives us the best shot.
granted, if the vikes do take quinn apparently they don't.
but from what i've seen in both, we already got tjack and i like what he's shown in very little oppurtunity.
