Right on, hopefully we have found a diamond in the rough (like the Pats & Tom Brady)

Re: Jackson proving a model student

I've been reading all this good stuff about him and the only thing thats certain is that he has the physical tools. Other than that, they can say all they want about him wanting to learn and stuff like that but only time and game experience will tell. I like this kid and liked the pick but I'd be lying if I said I don't have concerns about him.

But I thought Johnson could only dump the ball off?

Let's hope that more than a few opposing CBs underestimate Brad as well next season!!!

i was driving thru bama last week and their sports show was interviewing him, the kid sounded real hungry, all he wanted to do was learn the pro game and wait till he gets his chance, he wants lo learn it as fast as possible so if he is needed, he doesn't want to blow it. the guys there are in love with himand they we're extremely happy he got drafted. besides he said he was proud to be a viking so you got to love that

as long as people stop comparing him to daunte just cuz hes black..the guy has all the tools to be great, now he just needs to learn the game (something daunte never cared to do)..he has all summer to learn the offense, and all season playing behind brad..hes going to be ready to go next season, and he WILL be great

they compare him to donovan mcnabb more than dante.. but yeah i know where you're coming from, the comparisons are mainly rooted in 2 facts

#1) he's got an arm, just like both of them

    #2) he's black
