    Re: isaac bruce?

Like I said in another thread. It will be impossible for us to go after any big name fa's this season becuase of our 4 eyed geek a$$ commissioner. He has made it impossible for any team with alot of salary cap space to do anything, the only thing he is allowing is for teams to find ways to restructure their players contracts so the can sign the fa's that are on their team.

Edge will most likely be resigned by the Colts. Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison have reworked their contracts leaving 12.5 mil in cap space that will probably be used to sign Edgerrin James. The Seahawks were able to get the means to sign Alexander to a long term contract, so right there takes away not only our 2 top options, but several other teams options as well. So basically, the teams that are way over salary cap are being rewarded while teams that have the luxury to go after just about anyone they choose are being punished. Way to screw up the NFL Taliabue..

I would rather take T.O. for a year because you know he will definately produce at his age.

    Isaac Bruce=OLD AS DIRT

hes over thirty and on a team trying to start fresh. If we DO sign him hes gone in 1 or 2 years and probably wouldnt have changed much. We dont need a WR from Free Agency if we get Chad Jackson.
    Yea.

I love how everytime anyone gets released we wonder aloud if we want them ... although that is what this site is for
Isaac Bruce is done. He had a career that featured four stellar years (1995 being one of the best seasons by any receiver ever) and a handful of solid ones ... but he has slowed and the game is slowly leaving him behind.
He would be a great fit as a two or three in some place ... but probably not here.

plus he and tory holt have this fumbling problem. if you watch any of the games when they go over the middle, once they catch the ball they immediatly do down to avoid the hit. twice in one game holt fumbled and once bruce fumbled by getting hit. i wouldn't really want that especially in our WCO
