if the vikes trade up-GREENWAY

If the Vikings trade up we should not even consider vince young. Why? Because we need linebackers and Greenway is big, fast and a tackling machine. In order to be succesful you must draft to fill needs. Young would be great if we needed a QB as much as we do LBs. Look at the Steelers, each and every year they draft a positional NEED.

Why trade up for Greenway? He will probably be there at 17. It is more likely that we trade DOWN for greenway

Ya we wouldnt trade up for any LB but Hawk IMO, becuz thier is alot of quality depth at LB. Greenway or Sims should be avaible at 17 anyway.

I'd trade up for Hawk. Greenway you can probably get at 17, but even that depends on where Sims goes. If Sims goes early, they might have to trade up a couple spots to get him if they really want him.

He wouldn't be if he played for the Vikings, who likely wouldn't give him the carries.

The only move the Vikings need to make IMO is trade our 1st round pick for SCHAUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is absolutely no reason to trade up for a QB. That would mean we are giving 2 or 3 picks to move up and grab a QB when we could use only one pick to get Schaub. It would be as if we drafted Schaub ourselves with the 1st pick.

After that we plug the LB positions with 2 of the remaining 4 picks on the first day. As well as a CB and/or a RG.

I have seen time and time again how everyone on here says the LB group in this draft is very deep. So why move up for a LB when it's a deep draft for them?

1st Round = Greenway
2nd Round 48th Pick = Tye Hill (If he's still there)
2nd Round 51st Pick = Brodie Croyle.

EDIT: Sims would be a higher prospect if he was taller but... Small LB's tend to suck at coverage.
