If Vikes stay at #17 in the Draft who do they pick?
A dream would be to land Hawk, but if they do not get a prime FA I definitly settle for Maroney.

Chad Greenway would be sweet

Its about time someone responded! Greenway would be sweet. But even a trade up for D. Williams would be unbelievable! He would be a perfect fit for our new WC offense.

I really like what I seen with Williams in the senior bowl. I guess I'm hoping for some O'Line in Free Agency and maybe a running back also. I just have a feeling that Greenway will be a stud in here but what do I know. I would not be dissapointed if we got Williams though at all! Otherwise, how do you feel about White or Maroney?

Tom2Bucs,
Please place threads concerning the Offseason in the Offseason 2006/Draft/FA.
Aslo, scan to see if the topic is already being discussed. Odds are it is.
Thanks.

Re: If Vikes stay at #17 in the Draft who do they pick?
My dream draft is LB, OL, Safety. If we can get decent talent for those positions through the draft or even the FA market I'll be happy.
I would put some college players names on here except I don't follow college except for the Gophers.
Thanks Josdin

I really don't know who we will get with out pick. We could get a RB, OL, or maybe even QB. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I completely agree with your pics there. It think that the problem with our running game was our O-line, not the backs. Two years ago Meweld Moore ran for something like a 6 ypc average behind a solid line as a rookie, so why wouldn't he be able to do it again?? And I think Fason will turn into a solid back too. I would be exstatic to get LB, S, and OL in the first three rds and then maybe get another RB within the next two and then draft BPA.My dream draft is LB, OL, Safety. Onterrio I think can still be counted on as a solid backup, just don't trust him with the starting job.
Thanks PPE for the sig.

Onterrio has tons of talent. If he could just stay smart. I wonder if he will be in purple next year? Other then the OLine which I hope they try get some people in free agency as well as the draft, I really think the linebacker position needs to be dealt with.
