Thread: If Chavous goes FA then who?

If Chavous jumps ship (pun intended) who's gonna step in at strong safety? I believe this has been a weak spot for us with him there. He seems to get toasted every game, and I belive we can do alot better.

Our pass defense has stunk it up for a while now. I'm still not over the fact that Eric Kelly was even in the NFL. He's a Kentucky grad, and as a KY fan I was shocked that the Vikes would take a DB from a team that couldn't stop a high school passing attack. Thank God he's gone.

This year was a BIG improvement, but we need to step it up further.

Who knows. Fox maybe?

I will say this though, if your in the market to grab a super duper super star for every single position on our team you may as well go root for the Skins because throwing more money at bigger names doesn't fix problems.

Well said. We need a cohesive team who plays well together and trusts each other. Some good coaching wouldn't hurt anything either.

I disagree. I believe that with him being unhappy last year that he bolts for another team. I may be wrong, but that is my opinion.

Maybe we could trade Daunte for Ed Reed...

Dustin Fox looked plentiful...maybe hes the man i give him a year or two a safety

I am not sold on Fox. I guess all I can grade him is the games I watched him play for OSU.
