    My only question is,

This couldn't fit into the other thread already going ?? Now all the questions already asked and answered in that thread will need to be answered again.

jamie, I see what you're saying but this was a new story that I believ justified its own thread. How everyone reacts to it, however, could probably fit in the other.

We can fix that. Click here for other thread.

I agree, this is a big development, not that it's that surprising.

Like Josdin00 said in the other thread, the clock starts ticking today. That puts us at March 27 for the deadllne, hopefully sooner.

As already highlighted, that final paragraph is key.

Despite a case similar to this having already been contested, the CBA was immediately amended to make sure something like this didn't happen again. And has already been said by Nodak, the "Poison Pill" doesn't affect a change in salary whereever Hutchinson ends up, merely what is guaranteed, so there is a grey area.

I just hope the NFLPA isn't as over-confident about this as they were about T.O. Remember, the PA thought they were going to stroll through that and come up roses. Instead they got hosed, and spitefully got the Arbitrator for such cases (Richard Bloch) fired. To the PA lawyers I'll say: "Keep your feet on the ground boys. Do it properly and get Hutchinson in Purple and Gold."

I don't think this will take long, once the arbitrator reads the contract. It is not like a trial. I would think if they get it on Monday, we shoud have an answer by Tues, Wed at the latest.

Please don't hold me to it! I am not a lawyer.

Isnt it ironic how not long ago we were all bitching at the players union, now we all are rooting for them.

The whole claud thing doesn't bother me if I'm reading it correctly. There is no escalator claus because the Vikings are willing to pay him this if it's the case.

I do hate the fact it gets delayed. That's a crock. The league has known about this for a few days now. There's no reason for them not be able to make the determination by the deadline.
