I dont agree with that.

Randy Moss didnt have that great of year with Cassel, sure some games they clicked but the majority they didnt.
Players like Gaffney were more involved right away when Cassel came in for Brady.

Gaffney was catching some balls right away from Cassel and it took time for Cassel to adjust to Moss and Welker, so I believe Cassel could come in here and play just fine with our recievers.

Cassel seems to be a smart quarterback and he has learned how to pass the ball to a wide range of recieving styles in one season of being a starter.
Wish i could say that for Jackson.
Cassel can't hit the deep ball.
He missed a wide open Randy Moss at least 7 times!
If he can't hit a wide open Randy Moss deep then I doubt he can hit a wide open Bernard Berrian.
The teams would continue to stack the box and Cassel would be unable to stretch the field.
I dont agree with that either.
The reason is because i had Moss for Fantasy and he didnt do much in the beginning but after Cassel found his timing with Moss he started to produce.
Its all about timing between the qbs and recievers.

And 7 times is nothing for the amount of times they tried to go deep.
That is actually pretty good that they only missed 7 times.
randy moss----14rec. 20+,
3 rec

Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

So what you are saying is that it took Cassel a few games to find his touch with the speedy reciever named Randy Moss?

Yeah... the thing is, is he really worth risking a 1st rounder (and more or Chester)?
Hard to say, IMO he's the best qb out there that we have a possibility of obtaining, but it'd be putting a lot on the line.

Shefter: Vikings the team most likely to give up draft picks for Cassel

You'll want to go to about 2:27 on the audio.

http://audio.weei.com/m/21833652/adam_schefter_nfl_network.htm

I love offseason speculation... Though he doesn't really have any inside info on the situation, all he says is what he expects us to do.

He'd cost high picks to get, a lot of money, and he's a big risk, yet I feel part of me wanting him in Minnesota, definately more than any other qb.

I dont wanna keep trading our picks

Allen was a great deal.. Cassell.. IMO is not worth what they will probably be asking

Cassell would be decent here I believe.. But not worth the pay and the picks
