Re: His Highness Mel Kiper's mock draft 2006
I really don't think White will fall to the Vikes at 17. I would wager he is gone in the top 10.

Re: His Highness Mel Kiper's mock draft 2006
I'd love for that to happen....White could drop that far...thier is a possibilty. Best RB or LB at 17 is my pick.

Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

Re: His Highness Mel Kiper's mock draft 2006
I think that this looks like a pretty good mock up ... there is no question that right now Reggie and DeAngelo are the top two backs and that LenDale is currently rated ahead of Maroney ... I could see the third back in the draft falling to No. 17 easily ... Baltimore may snatch up the third back at No. 13, but I think they really want another pass-rusher because they want to solidfy the 4-3 defense.
Should be interesting to discuss right up to draft time.

Re: His Highness Mel Kiper's mock draft 2006
What it comes down to is that we will have a shot at 1 of these 3 backs, Deangelo, Maroney or White. If only Maroney is left, I'd rather look at the best LB and see who I rather have.

Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

Holy crap, Ashton Youboty in the first round? Yikes!
They got Holmes before White?
Kiper is an idiot!

Baltimore is making noise that if White is still available at 13 they will take him.

Re: His Highness Mel Kiper's mock draft 2006
I just saw this on ESPNews and thought I would come here and post it, but Old Man beat me to it.
I don't have a problem with Lendale White.
But I highlighted some other options, not trying to sway anyone, just highlighted them.
Remember this, Childress said it starts up front. If they evaluate the guys that we have and they think that one of our up front guys doesn't fit in, we might be looking at a D or O lineman in the first round. I just highlighted the positions that we most talked about on this board. I highlighted LB and RB. But to be honest with you, it looks like a talent rich draft at those spots. Sure-Linemen are harder to come by.

Re: His Highness Mel Kiper's mock draft 2006
We need to move up to get L. White. He will be a better Pro than Bush. Even if this means we give a fourth rounder.
