Re: His highness, Mel Kiper, Jr., picks da Vikes 1st 4 rounds

    A couple of things:

First, Kellen Clemmons seems to be getting some hype this week. He was listed in Peter King's Monday Morning Quarterback as "the sleeper of the draft." Additionaly, Merril Hodge brought him up yesterday on the ESPN draft special.

Second, two recievers and a DT!! I know we lost Burly but my goodness these seem like the two positions we are the deepest at right now. We have other needs.

    Just my $.02

Will Blackmon is more of a CB you guys, he was a dual threat in college, but he's known as a big time talent at CB.

No way Jacobs is Mr. Irrelevant 2006, Vikes will either grab him or Whitehurst if they don't trade up for Cutler. Course our coach isn't gonna give us any clue on what he's doing.

Kiper only did 4 rounds, MR. Irrelevant would be the last player picked in the 7th round.

Four rounds is all that he can fit in his hair.

Kipper had Eslinger going late in the 4th round, If he was available with our 2nd 3rd round pick (95th overall) the Vikes should take him.

Kellen Clemens? Ahead of Whitehurst and Croyle and Jacobs? I don't think so.
~ I agree with Trey. I think Charlie Whitehurst would be our pick if he's still available

Kellen Clements was an incredible player for Oregon, he was being talked about late first early second before he got injured near the end of the season. He lead Oregon to the best ranking they've had in years and they were undefeated until he went down(I think) and he had an awesome arm. I am a huge Oregon football fan my Grandparents live in eugene. I wiould love to have him but we might be able to get him latter. He has the potential to be a great qb

Anyone buying the rumors about Texans skipping out on Bush to draft Mario Williams (I think that's who it was)?
