Thread: harris under contract till 2008??

im reading this article on kfan and it says hes under contract till 08 but i thought he was a FA this offseason.

Under contract through 2008, Harris should continue to be a key piece in the Vikings’ defensive puzzle.
He may see a bit of a diminished role however depending on how injured rookie Chad Greenway returns from a torn ACL.

That can't be right...we never heard any thing about Harris being resigned, we saw E.J get a new contract, that doesn't make sense.

That list might be a bit out of date.

then why was everybody making a big deal about resigning harris this offseason? saying that he might be the oddman out?

Read the majority of the posts on the board, the anwer is buried within.

Fox Sports has him as a FA and I have seen it other places that he is a FA after the 2006 season.

Don't have to. This is an article I posted in a thread last month. Only two people responded to it;

I think its because he got an option for an extra year..
