Re: Gray deal done with Texans, Sage deal next?

Texans quarterback Sage Rosenfels understands the reality of the situation. He is a seven-year NFL veteran who just turned 30. He is still waiting to become an NFL starter. He is still waiting for an opportunity to compete for a starting job.
There were indications this offseason that his wait might have ended. Minnesota offered the Texans a third-round draft pick for Rosenfels. But the Texans wanted at least a second-round pick.
Hmm so it sounds like Sage really wanted a chance to start somewhere.
"As a quarterback, you'd like to have a chance to make a team your own. And this is Matt's team. And I understand that. There's obviously some frustration there."
