Gordon, who averaged 4.4 yards on 15 returns,

Man, we really missed that production after he got injured. I can't wait to see if he can stretch that to 4.5-4.7 YPR this year. That would be awesome.

Gordon really suffered a gruesome injury, and I hope he can come back from it, but playing on turf, and pushing off that ankle are the true test he will have to take. He may never 100% recover. I hope he can, and become the player we hope for, but that was a compound fracture of the ankle, and coming back to full strength will not be easy. I believe this concern will have us using a early round draft pick on a DB.

    Good luck Charles.

Exactly, he is coming back from a pretty bad injury I am actually surprised that they made the move as there would of been very little rush IMHO to get something done and play a wait and see about the leg.

I'm guessing it is healing nicely or they wouldn't have committed the bucks.

That is a cruel remark considering how his season ended.

Re: Gordon, Vikings agree to terms on a one-year deal

Gordon officially started two of the nine games he played last season, although he saw significant time because he was the nickel cornerback. He played in all 16 games in 2008, with three starts.
    Kid was everywhere......

    Defense, returns, ST's coverage.......

Hope he comes back healthy this year.
Multi-faceted players, especially undrafted FA's are hard to find.

    What bucks?

Gordon is expected to receive a base salary of about $530,000, with a chance to earn another $500,000 in incentives.
