Thread: Going to Minneapolis

I am travelling to Minneapolis Monday 5/21 for one day on business and have a few hours free in the afternoon. I need some help from you guys. I'd like to visit the training camp...how far is it from downtown Minneapolis? Would I be able to get in on such short notice? Do I need tickets, and if so how do I get them?

There is no Vikings training camp on 5/21.
Organized Team Activities (OTAs) start at Winter Park in Eden Prairie, MN on 5/22.
Those are not open to the public.
Mini-camp starts on 6/1, also at Winter Park and also not open to the public.

Training camp is some time in July, on the campus of Minnesota State - Mankato, in Mankato, MN.

Also FYI, Mankato is about 81 miles from Minneapolis.
