Ive watched him play in person and he can stretch the field with his blazing speed. If johnson has time in the pocket, lelie has the ability to run past the entire secondary and reel in a 40 yarder.

And because im a diehard warrior fan, we do need some hawaii players on the roster as well.
Pissed yes, Crybaby no. If he were a real man or a team player he would take on the challenge and rise to the occasion to earn a starting spot. Instead he is whing, that is lame. Although Lelie has talent, he has gone out of his way to label himself as a very very poor man's Randy Moss.

    Re: Going after Lelie

    I think Lelie's very under-rated.

I also don't think Williamson will pan out. He's got great speed, but that's it. Put him on kick/punt returns.

Also, Taylor and MRobinson, have been very inconsistent as well.

All of our WR's our talented, but I don't see anyone other than KRob putting up probowl #'s this season.

    Re: Going after Lelie

Lelie would be an OK addition, but we don't need him. K-Rob and T-Will will both be putting up huge numbers this season. Taylor and M-Rob are fine as third WRs.

    Re: Going after Lelie

Lelie has been inconsisten his whole career, we don't need him taking plays from one of our other talented receivers.

TWill has way better hands than Ashley "Hands of Stone" Lelie!

    Re: Going after Lelie

I'd have to say pass on Lelie. We have decent depth, and if we want to trade for a T-Will clone let's go after Stallworth. He started off slow, but Daunte will be a star in the NFL, mark my words.

    Re: Going after Lelie

I don't questsion his talent, I question his ability to put up with the same thing he is going to be given here as he was is Denver. KRob is our starter and TWill is up and coming and he deserves a chance to play. If we brought Lelie in he would be our 3rd WR by midseason. That is exactly why he is whining right now, so why put up with his emotional ineptitude?
