    Going after Lelie

I watched this guy for three years at Hawaii, and he is pretty good. I think that we should try and get him. 6'3" 205. Has 4.4 flat speed. He can be our deep threat. I think he is worth a serious look. Lelie, KRobinson, TTaylor, TWilliamson. That would be a pretty decent receiving core for this year. I hope you guys are going to watch this guy in college. Justin Hicks 6'2 3/8 198 lbs. Great hands. Pretty good speed. 4.5 40 time.

Sounds nice, but I doubt it. This is Troy's year to shine!

I think our talent and depth at WR is such that we won't be tempted to give up too much to add to it. imo we're fine sitting with what we have.

I definatley don't want to go after Ashley Lelie, he's fast and athletic, but inconsistent.

And since he's been playing on the oppisite side of Rod Smith, for a few years, you would expect him to have better numbers than he has.

Just say NO to Ashley Lelie.

He's being a baby because he refuses to play in Denver now because of Javon Walker.

He doesn't really sound like a team player.

    Re: Going after Lelie

I'd be up for it and giving him a shot in minny. I think anyone would be pissed if they were downgraded to the third receiver.

Ive watched him play in person and he can stretch the field with his blazing speed. If johnson has time in the pocket, lelie has the ability to run past the entire secondary and reel in a 40 yarder.

And because im a diehard warrior fan, we do need some hawaii players on the roster as well.

    Re: Going after Lelie

I believe it would be a good move especially if Denver gives him up for the right condition. He wants to get out of there just as Jevon Walker did in Green Bay. Since Jevon left them, is it an upgrade for WR for Denver? Sure it is. Lelie would be an upgrade to us too. He wouldn't be disgruntled here. We need someone that can stretch the field. I hope that Troy is going to show me something this year. If he doesn't, then we are going to look back and say we should have gotten another wide out. Besides KRob, Troy, and Travis T, we are really shaky. I think it would be a good investment. Might be able to get him reasonably.
