"Ginn, who was unable to work out at the NFL combine sessions at Indianapolis in February, and, thus, was viewed as a bit of a wild card in the first round, ran the 40 three times during Wednesday's campus audition. According to scouts present at the workout, Ginn's times were between 4.37-4.45 seconds."

Re: Ginns Workout results
to me ginn looks like another troy williamson. . i think the vikes need a bigger more physical receiver.
Ginn is a talented receiver but, i just dont like his style.
just my opinion.
These mock drafts are drivin me nuts though cuz its a different guy in the rotation every day.
I just looked at one saying Quinn again

Re: Ginns Workout results
ginn lackluster works out he wont be taken in the 1sr round(hopefully).
as far as him being like troy, if troy catches the ball and gets more playing time he can b good.
the speed at receiver can help in the playaction passing game. they can get open unlike the other wr's on our team.

I guess I don't get it. He runs a 4.37 and they are saying if he ran a solid 4.3 he would be #7 in the draft material? So the difference between a solid #7 pick and a late first rounder or second is .07 seconds. Fantastic. If you promise to be smarter, I will promise to be nicer.
My posts are worth 6 of yours.

Re: Ginns Workout results
I don't want the Viking's to draft Ginn at 7, he isn't worth that even if he ran a 4.29!
He is fast but he drops to many passes and we have one of those guys already and we don't need another one. What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Re: Ginns Workout results
Im gonna be pissed if we draft Ginn, we need someone who can hold onto the ball. If we cant trade down and get a WR who can actually catch the ball then we need to draft a WR or BPA which wont be Ginn!!
