Re: Giants Cut Three, Arrington, Morton, and Petigout

Petitgout still has some milage on him I think, might be a good pickup for the right price. I also wouldn't be opposed to aquiring Arrington either. But it's gotta be for the right money.

Arrington is a very risky sign.
He's never healthy and as mentioned, he's not a very disciplined player.
However, if we can get him for around 4-5 million (very slim chance) by doing what the Giants did (low guaranteed money, high incentive), then I would be halfway happy with the thought of him playing for us.

I'll agree that Arrington is overrated, overpaid and can't cover, BUT he might help with a passrush that was incapable of getting any pressure on the QB.

I think we are set at linebacker and need to use our money at the offensive side of the ball and maybe on DE, unless a 5* Defensive player pops up in our face and says he wants to play for us(Guys like Merriman, Freeney, Jason Taylor) and i dont see Arrington in that kind of class.

I really want freeney, but that is almost impossible We should sing some Oline and a reciever if we can. There are several wr's that are possibly going to be cut by their teams.
