Get WR Eric Moulds in FA?

I have just read the Texans cut WR Eric Moulds. I think the Vikes should look to sign him. He would give us some help at the WR position.

I sure he is being considered.
Every WR in FA is at least being considered.

He can get open and do something after the catch.
That would be a very popular pickup in my little world!

Just looked up his stats. He seems to be in a steady decline over the last four years. He is 33 years old, and doesnt seem like a solution in my opinion. Here's the link:

Still better than anyone we had last season, except Travis Taylor:

Granted. But, I was hoping for a significant upgrade over last year. Such as: trading up in the draft for Calvin Johnson. I guess I see Moulds as a band aid, and not the major facelift that we need at wr.

For sure, I would take trading up for CJ...but remember...we are dealing with Childress and Spielman...I'm not very confident that they can pull it off!

Maybe they are just playing dumb and prentending that we really don't need any wide receivers that can run AND catch. Hopefully, they will be able to sneak up and grab CJ. If not, prepare for another year of Chester Taylor running left, and lots of field goals.
