Garcia anyone?
Even with a strong performance by TJ this Sunday, Childress will no doubt bring in a vetern to replace Johnson and assume the starting role.
There are too many decent veterns available next year that are capable of elevating the Vikes to a playoff caolibur level.
Several come to mind; Plummer, Garcia, Rattay, Schaub, and possibly Carr.
With a couple WRs and some good lineman in the draft - we could be right back in the saddle.

Re: Garcia anyone?
When he has talent he is a good QB.. I wouldn't mind a 1 year deal to develop T-jack more

Re: Garcia anyone?
Whats the point? That was the whole thing with Johnson.
Let T Jack play.
I do not want to wait to find out if he is the answer.

Re: Garcia anyone?
I would take my chances with Schaub, or Leftwich if he is available.. Garcia is hit and miss, mostly miss.. I wouldn't want him here.. If you are talking purely as a backup to TJ, then I would prefer BJ to stay over Garcia coming here..

Re: Garcia anyone?
i completely agree with you! why cant we have a franchise qb from start to finish of their careerWhats the point? That was the whole thing with Johnson.
Let T Jack play.

although, if we have a chance to grab a qb, it would be hard to pass up.I would take my chances with Schaub, or Leftwich if he is available.. Garcia is hit and miss, mostly miss.. I wouldn't want him here.. If you are talking purely as a backup to TJ, then I would prefer BJ to stay over Garcia coming here..
but if i had the choice, i'd rather have just TJack then some other veterani m better than you, so just give up...

Re: Garcia anyone?
if jackson shows tomorrow that hes flat out not ready at all, and has a terrible offseason, then i wouldnt mind having garcia start for a season..the guy isnt a schmo..if we pick up some receivers and the line gets a little better at protecting, almost any veteran would be good back there..i want tjack to be the starter, but in reality, if he really isnt ready, then what other option do we have if we really want to win games?
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.
