Re: Frerotte wants shot at QB job

I honestly think that Frerotte should have started in the playoffs (assuming he wasn't injured more than they let on).
He earned it and even though TJ had a couple of good games, I didn't see anything out of him that said he changed. I have always seen, whether I admit it or not, that he can make most any throw. But he lacks leadership and decision making skills.
In his third year, he should show those abilities.

I am not saying Gus is a god by all means, just saying he should have started the playoffs and was the Vikes best QB for the job at that time.
Worst case scenario, the Vikes would have lost to the Eagles.
    Wait, they did anyway.
Second worst scenario is he plays like shit and TJ relieves him.
Best case, he beats the Eagle and the Vikes have a good shot at beating the rest of the NFC teams all the way to the Playoffs.

WHY? so he could play like he did against Detroit and throw picks all over the field??... no thank you... atleast TJ doesn't routinely turn the ball over..

Gus was good for atleast 1 or 2 picks a game.. dumb picks too!!!
