If we sign him do you think he would play strong side or weak side?

Opposite Newman...and with Cowart, EJ or DT in the middle.

I am probably one of the few that think DT would be perfect in the middle.
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

DT is quick but i think he would excell more in the outside. He needs to get his mental side down right. And you have to be one of the smartest players to play mike. I think if we get Peterson we will move EJ back to the middle and say goodbye to Cowart.

Ideally, I'd like to see us pick up Julian Peterson.

Move up in the draft to pick up A.J. Hawk.

Keep our finger crossed that we can somehow pick up Laurance Marhoney.
I used to be indecisive, now I m not so sure!

Julian Peterson from there. He is the best option to get a starting LB let alone an elite one. I think If Wilf is serious about making this team a contender Peterson will be in purple next year. After that an RB is the next hole to fill, and then maybe SS.

I think it says a lot that there are arguments on this board on whether we actually need a new RB or SS. It means the only certain need in everyone's view is LB.

Bring in the below. Here are their last years earnings-

    Julian Peterson: $5,289,000
    Steve Hutchinson: $2,500,000
    Jon Runyan: $2,700,000
    Mike Vanderjagt: $1,800,000
    R.W. McQuarters: $750,000
    Total: $13,039,000

    So Lets say-

    Peterson- $6,500,000
    Hutchinson: $4,500,000
    Runyan: $2,500,000
    Vanderjagt: $2,000,000
    R.W. McQuarters: $1,000,000
    Total: $16,500,000

    Left: $5,500,000+

Still have money for a paying some on the bonuses, and signing picks.

    Re: Free Agent Frenzy

Our most pressing need is a SOLID Right Side OT..........

I hope Birk comes back stronger than ever, but our weakest link was our O line this year.........Rosenthal has to go, he just isn't a good player at all...

A solid line will give us all a chance to see just how good our RB's and WR's are.....And I believe they are GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.....

thats a lot of money. first we have to re-sign our players. then get our FA's then the draft, then the second wave of FA's. Vanderjagt wont be here. I would like R.W. since B-will is most likely gone.

    Re: Free Agent Frenzy

Do you guys think EJ is finally playing up to the level all the draft day hype said he would? I thought they brought Cowart in to explain defense to the young man...
