I think that is more realistic. I don't think Sims will be there. If the Pack does'nt take AJ Hawk, I think we should trade up with SF to grab him.

Definately do NOT agree with the Saints picking Leinart at two. They just spent a whole boat load of money on Brees!

But there has also been alot of chatter that nobody is taking them up on trading down out of the 2nd spot ... so, they are in love with Leinart and with Bree's getting $12 MM in the 2nd year of his contract, it's basically a one year deal.

Not to mention the Saints are still a hand full of teams targeted for moving to L.A. around 2008, the League would LOVE to have Leinart on a team the moves there.

If it played out that way ... this is just IMO.

If Sims is off the board before we pick, I would pass on Greenway and pick up Youboty or Lendale White ... then focus on LB in the 2nd round.

Brees got 10 million guranteed already. There is no chance in hell that the Saints pick Leniart with the 2nd pick.

That would be one of the most idiotic moves a franchise has made in sometime. They will have to give Leinart atleast a 22 million deal. Not worth it and won't happen.

Think about THIS:

IF the Saints DO take Leinart at #2 AND Brees has a GOOD year, we could scoop up Brees NEXT SEASON to be our QB if they cut him so that Leinart can start. Not a bad deal for us if that comes to pass. So maybe we SHOULD root for the Saints to get Leinart!
