First Trip to Training Camp...and I have questions

    Hello.
I am going to training camp for Monday's afternoon practice, and I have a few questions for anyone who has been there before.
I'm driving down from Apple Valley and bringing 4 kids with me, so here is what I'd like to know:

Practice is schedule for 3:00, do we need to arrive much before due to crowds or should we be able to get a seat in the stands?

Can you bring your own water and snacks into the stands?
If not, do they have concessions?

Is there usually a chance after the practice for kids to get a few sigs, and if so where should they be standing around for that?

Also, is the parking for training camp right near the stadium where practice is held or is there a walk involved (remember--4 kids).

Anything else I need to know?
I'm hoping I can assume there are at least port-a-potties.
I appreciate the advise and info.

You should be OK if you get there about 15 minutes early. There wasn't a huge crowd today & it was a weekend.

Can you bring your own water and snacks into the stands?
If not, do they have concessions?
No you cannot. There are concessions on the grounds. IE pocorn, pizza, hotdogs, hamburgers, water, soft drinks & BEER.

Is there usually a chance after the practice for kids to get a few sigs, and if so where should they be standing around for that?
They have 8 lines & 8 players set up for autographs. The players are there for only 20 minutes, so if you get in line early enough, you'll get some autographs. I wasn't in line right away, plus I had to buy a football to have signed & still made it thru 2 lines.

Also, is the parking for training camp right near the stadium where practice is held or is there a walk involved (remember--4 kids).
Parking is right next to camp. If you park in the closest ones, it's $5. If you park in a further one it's $3.

I parked about two blocks away in a private $3, but there is a lot where you only need to walk across the street & you are there ($5)

Anything else I need to know?

There are porta-potties there, but if you go behind the concession area where the food is sold, you can use the Blaklee stadium restrooms. Much better than the porta-potty scenario, especially in this heat.

    Thank you!
This is exactly the info I needed.
    You rock!
    Bonus information on the BEER.
Makes up for not being able to bring water and snacks in for the kiddos.

    P.S.
I'm bring my camera so if I get any good pictures, I'll do my best to figure out how to post them here.
(Which players should I be taking pictures of? Requests?)

Any & all. I took 224 of them myself today. Due to the delay of the digital camera, some will be tossed out, but I have a bunch to post.

Maybe you should lobby to have Webby change/add a "Watergirl" option for your status.

Have a great time and take lots of pics for us slobs who are to poor to travel to Mankato.

Get a couple of the Chiller in his new hat, the WR's catching balls if that is in fact really happening.

My daughter wasn't allowed in with her bottle of Pepsi. She had to toss it first

So the campus can make a buck.
I don't think it's right for them to change handicapped when they have a sticker and the rest of the state of MN consideres handicapped exempt from parking fee's.

Handicapped should pay just like everyone else.
