only problem i saw from day one, was Shianco had a few drops that was really dissappointing to me since it wasnt even against anyone, just in passing drills i saw him drop 2-3 passes

Its still in the air if any of them are good or not my friend, but as Ultra said, its better to hear it from a fans perspective than a local sports hack who has hater syndrome because the current staff doesn't suck thier..........
Anyway you get the gist of it.

Thanks for the great post and your hind sight of the practice.

    Marr,

Being on your knees, doesn't make you a girl sometimes....LOL

When I was in Paris Island for USMC boot camp, the Drill Instructors used to love making us kneel on the black top, while explaining everthing us maggots did wrong, during drill and ceramony drills......That Shit is hot in the middle of the summer, our knees would actually get burned, and God forbide you try to cheat and get off them... :

Just hope Shank'll be good, or decent at least. T-Jack will need a good safety blanket in case the WRs didn't get open (or dropped it continously... i hope i didn't jinx them by saying that)

Re: A Few Things From Day One

I thought camp was great on Friday afternoon.
Thing that P.O.'ed me was the over zealous fans when they threw out the autographed balls at the close of the day.
BOTH my kids had balls ripped out of their hands by adults.
BOTH of my kids were also shoved in aggressive ways by adults diving for balls. If I didn't walk with a cane you bet I would of been getting in some faces, taking some balls back, and doing some shoving of my own.
I can understand the excitement of wanting to get them, but as well, as a parent, as an ADULT... I'm a little ticked that some 180 pound joker needs to shove my 10 & 11 year old.
Even more so when I see these same jerks on the way out holding 4 & 5 autographed balls.
I also witnessed other parents trying to calm their young children as they were crying from the same type of thing happening to them.
    REALLY.... what gives ?
It's great that everyone's a fan and all but come on.
Do some folks really need to be so die hard that they have to push around little kids.
Ya know.... 'as with anything', the future football players and fans are in the stands today.
Watching, learning & forming opinions and ideas of what it's all about.
It's up to us, the ADULTS to set the example.

Re: A Few Things From Day One

While I am glad the recievers are catching the ball I am not thrilled that the defenders didn't at least bat one of them down.
Our lack of pass defense gave us a losing season.
In all fairness to Winfield and Griffin, pretty much every route run was a button hook about ten yards the field.
When you're playing ten yards off to start, that's pretty tough to stop.
Neither of them got beat once.

    majikboxman-

    Man, I feel you.
I'm not in the same position as you with having children, I'm only 16.
However, it really ticks me off when I see adults shoving kids out of the way in order to get an autograph.
I remember a few years ago Daunte Culpepper was riding off on his scooter, and some guy ran right over probably a five year old girl.
He didn't even turn back to see if she was alright.

I wasn't at the team introduction, was it worth going to?
