Vikings linebacker Heath Farwell, working out at the team’s Winter Park facility on Monday, said he has yet to sign the second-rounder tender off of $1.4 million that he received at the start of free agency....

Farwell will sign his tender soon, as he knows how important he is to our team. Special team aces are a big part of a winning team.

The Vikings announced that LB Heath Farwell has signed his 1-year contract tender, which guarantees him a $1.4 million salary this season. Farwell has been participating in the Vikings’ offseason strength and conditioning program and said Monday that signing the tender was a forgone conclusion.

If he continues to play special teams at this level, he's bound to be promoted eventually...you'd think anyways.
