Well, he did win Defensive Player of the Year in the Big 12 his senior year. I'm excited to see what he can do at the pro level."Marrdro" wrote:
How do you know Rufus is a beast?Lets not forget, Rufus is a beast, can step right in on ST's as well.
He, however, isn't big enough to play all positions.
Hasn't played a single down for the Vikings.
And I think Farwell is a FINE primary backup, for both EJ and Leber.
=Z=Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

He doesn't have to actually play football in the NFL to gauge his athletisism does he?
If that is the case, how do you know Farwell is a FINE primary backup.
When has he ever done it?
Truth be told, the attributes Farwell has with respect to his value as a ST'er take away from his value as a everydown LB.
Small and fast won't help him shed 330ish lb G's in running situations my friend. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

There are TONS of impressive college guys who can't play a lick in the NFL.
I think it's a tad early to call Rufus Alexander a "beast".
=Z=
Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

I worry about his size. He was listed at 6'1" 228 lbs and probably has gained some weight since then, however, he would still be in the Farwell/Ciuriciu range.Rofus will be good, can't wait to see him on the field
Seems the smaller LB's usually only elevate to ST's status of late as the OL get bigger and faster.
50 Vinny Ciurciu LB 27 6-0 235 5 Boston College
59 Heath Farwell LB 26 6-0 235 3 San Diego State
52 Chad Greenway LB 25 6-2 242 2 Iowa
56 E.J. Henderson LB 27 6-1 245 5 Maryland
58 David Herron Jr. LB 23 6-1 239 R Michigan State
51 Ben Leber LB 29 6-3 244 6 Kansas State
54 Dontarrious Thomas LB 27 6-2 241 4 Auburn
