i'd give up a 3rd for sure for him.. a 2nd is close to pushing it.. but i'd probably go for that too
What would we have to give up to get Carr? Was it a 3rd or a 4th? I can't remember. I would give up a 3rd for either Schaub or Carr personally, then with our first go after a receiver that can catch!
I think a 2nd rounder for Schaub is too expensive. I'd go for a 3rd, or a 3rd and a player, but a 2nd round draft pick for a guy that is just as unproven as any rookie is just not worth it.
If I had to choose between Carr (a former #1 pick) for a 3rd rounder and Schaub for a 2nd rounder, I would DEFINATELY go for Carr.
Carr has more wear and tear on him though. Does that sway you at all? I don't necessarily like one guy more than the other but Carr has been pretty beaten up over his first few years.
To me Schuab has never showed
me anything to justify is price tag.ATL has alot invested in Vick, but i'm sure if Schaub was honestly the better of the 2, they'd get him on the field. You could argue it all you want, but thats how I feel.A third rounder sounds about fair to me, a 2nd rounder is pretty high for a un-proven back up QB.Dont get me wrong he could be the next Hasselbeck, or he could be the next Gus Ferrot.
The cheesedicks gave up a #1 for Favre.
I don't know the significane of that but maybe someone will figure it out?

I'm torn between Schaub, and Carr myself.. Schaub has less wear on his body, but Carr has more experience.. We can get Carr for a 3rd or 4th rd pick, but will likely have to pick up much of his remaining salary..
If we gave up a 2nd rd pick for Schaub, he would come cheaper then Carr will.. I like both of them to be honest.. If you give Carr a good line, he will pick apart most teams in the NFL.. Schaub has one hell of an arm himself, and he has the youth.. It would be a hard decision for me to make, and thats why I don't make those decisions.. ;)
Who knows what direction Childress goes with this news. He was willing to give up a 2nd last year but now that Tarvaris is around who knows..
