    Re: FA Signings so far

I see where everyone is coming from.. But why put an average back behind an average line? Doesn't make sence to me.. I guess our line will be a lil better this year though..

I think it is more of a running concept of balance.
I mean I would love to see either of those 2 on our team.

I think we would be frustrated though.

    I think of M Moore on a team with a dominant o-Line.
There is no telling what he could do.
at times I found myself watching him and saying holy crap that was a Sanders move. The power, the moves, the will to run.
But in the end our lack of a good line just beat him down.

    Just my take

If I could remind people that the chargers have Foley,Merriman and Donnie Edwards so if you take that in consideration and Lebers stats are pretty darn good!

Does anyone online keep an up-to-the-minute Team Roster?

Most websites haven't changed a thing since the last week of the 2005 Season.

It would be great to see a list of players by position, what their contract amounts and length are, etc. Then we'd have a better overview of our depth and options to consider.

Anyone with a Viking Obsession in the House wanna keep a thread updated with that info?

I think it would rock to kick back and survey the troops (closer to real time than 3 months ago).

LMAO!!! You can't be serious. I'm a big fan of Bentley but ummmm, we just found a solid replacement for our strong side LB, a solid RB, and a real kicker.

Its obvious LeCharles wanted to play center.
A solid replacement for our strong side LB and a solid RB? Neither have proven they can do for a whole season what we need them to. Nobody can even try to argue for a fact that they can start for us and do a good job considering neither have proved themselves.

Yah, I see what ya mean man..

I just don't think we have enough offensive weapons.. We need a superstar cuz last year the average players didn't really cut it..

Although if we do get Hutch or something it should help..

It's just my opinion.. I don't know much about Taylor.. Maybe he will do good for us like the other Taylor we got from the Ravens

As a matter of fact, Napleon Harris was more proven than Leber.

    Harris- 2002 Oakland Raiders 15 81 59.0 22 0.5 0 0 0.0 0 0 2
    2003 Oakland Raiders 16 107 74.0 33 2 0 0 0.0 0 0 2
    2004 Oakland Raiders 14 61 47.0 14 0 0 0 0.0 0 0 1

    Leber- 2002 San Diego Chargers 16 50 41.0 9 5 0 0 0.0 0 0 1
    2003 San Diego Chargers 16 80 69.0 11 3 0 0 0.0 0 0 1
    2004 San Diego Chargers 16 60 49.0 11 2 0 0 0.0 0 0 1
    2005 San Diego Chargers 9 22 18.0 4 2 0 0 0.0 0 0 1

That's pretty funny if ya ask me.

I think Taylor was picked because he can take a beating.
And he will if we don't upgrade the line.

Remember when we had Stuessie, McDaniel and crew?
That is the kind of Line we need.
Our guys have big hearts and at times a glimpse of dominace.
It just seems hard for them to string it together for long stretches.

Then again when I turn out the lights tonight I am just a fan with lots of opinions............so...................

Like was said, I hope these moves are brilliance in the making.

Yah we really need to look at the line..

I guess Taylor was threatening to take Jamal's starting spot so he must have some talent..

I'll slowly begin to like the move I bet

yeah, i thought childress says that his #1 concern to be addressed would be the Oline...so far, he is pursuing everything but.

i think Chest T. can be the bruiser we need until our Rb we draft this year is ready to play.
