    Re: FA Linbackers/Safeties

Greenway needs to bulk up a bit..

I'd take Hodge.. Either would be cool though..

I'd take a RB over a LB right now though.. Depending on how we do in the FA we need a RB hardcore!

I definitely do not want Adam Archuleta, my friend, and my other friend's dad are both rams fans, and all they do is complain about how their D sucks, and Archuleta blows coverage, can't tackle, and drops easy picks.

From what I hear from them, Archuleta is a no-go. Peterson would be great though.

    Re: FA Linbackers/Safeties

I've watched some of the Rams and he looked better then Chavous to me..

Im gonna break it down from how I see it..

Thier stats are pretty simular.. Except Archuleta is a better blitzer and doesn't get as many picks.. But we got Sharper for that!

Liability in coverage both Chavous and Archuleta are..

    Chavous can't hit like Archulta..

Rams D is horrible so he had to make up for peoples mistakes like Sharper had to do also in GB.. Like I said man Sharper would be good here!

Chavous is an 8 year pro I believe.. While Adam is 5 year I think.. Something like that..

Either way I would be happy I guess.. Chavous gets the job done.. But I love Archuleta's hitting ability

I think Tank Williams would be a good fit on our team. He's big and can knock receivers out when they come across the middle. He and Sharper would be a formidable tandem at safety, espeially with the corners we have. As far as linebackrers, we should add at least one this offseason. Ayodele would be great if he is available. I'm less worried about linebacker as there seems to be lots of options out there. Ayodele, Will Witherspoon, and Julian Peterson all would be good pickups, and Lavar Arrington will proabaly be available as well. Hopefully one of these guys will be on the team next year.

Tank Williams would be pretty good. I would rather have him then Archuleta.

My biggest want is Akin Ayodele. That guy is an absolute stud and i've been saying it all along.

If we can get those two and maybe a running back (if we are lucky) then we are looking very, very good going into the draft.

    Re: FA Linbackers/Safeties

Tank definitley.. He is better then Archy and is way under-rated.. He can lay some wood if needed and gets ya some big plays..

I'd take Julian over Ayodele but both would be sick.. I'd be happy with either.. If not im cool with what we got and we could get a good one in the draft..

I really want a RB and looks like a 90 percent chance Edge is hitting the market.. We need to get him

    Re: FA Linbackers/Safeties

If we could get him, Witherspoon is definitely the guy to go after. On another board I frequent, many posters are high on David Thornton of the Colts, who is already a good Cover 2 type LB.

If Offord recovers OK from his knee injury, I could see him taking over the SS spot. I've read other people saying Tank Williams is a great run support safety but sucks in coverage. I would be willing to gamble on Archuleta; I always see him making plays.
