I still love that Broncos trade. That 3rd rounder next year is going to be great to have.
Good article.
Our picks and trades seemed to follow the draft board well.
I like the overall talent level of the guys picked as well, don't know who gets the credit for this, but it appears that the scouting team had more say this year.
The guys picked were all very "athletic", some are undersized (Robison, Rufus), but they played the game at full speed.
The WR picks as well.
It will be interesting to see how the coaching staff develops and utilizes these guys, but I think they upgraded the team's overall athletic'ness significantly.
Talked with some folks from Oklahoma this weekend, they think we got a pretty good one in Rufus.
AP goes without saying.
Nobody will know if this was a great for three to four years. ::)
I have a better idea, how about grade our drafts picks from three or four years, now is the time. ;)

I think this was a very solid draft, and one that gives a better chance at future success than future failure.
All in all I think Speilman did a good job!

I think you can grade the draft choices (was it the right choice to select Adrian Peterson at 7, was Rice a better choice than Jarrett in the 2nd, etc.) but to grade the draft itself, the perspective of a couple seasons is needed.
=Z=
Somebody needs to dredge up the Spielman thread from when he 1st got here & members were bashing him left & right.
;)
Fantastic draft!
Well thought out, well done.
I agree with all the picks except one.
I still think that we should have taken Jordan Kent in the 6th round instead of Allison.
We wouldn't have to worry about receivers for the next 4-5 years.
Still great job Speilman and Childress.
Rufus Alexander and Brian Robison will be great players for MN!!! i cant wait to see these guys play! i am saving up money right now to try and go to Training camp again and see these guys!!!

You were more far-reaching if you weren't bashing him based on his history.
I am happy with what he has done so far.
He learned from his mistakes it appears.
