no, a run game would open up the passing game for him.

Boulware? This is their eighth pick out of ten currently in their possession. They have been so aggressive in free agency that I’d be very surprised if they don’t spend two or three of these late picks to move up early in the draft. Even their kicker/punter situation is in good shape.
I just loved that.
So I figured I'd include where it came from.
We sign Gus and Boulware, and we're looking good to draft BPA all the way through, and get the guys we want and need by shuffling around some.
;D
I know that Andre Johnson was out during Sage's run, and I'm pretty sure that Ahman Green was injured too...what I'm saying is Sage's 4-1 record is impressive because the talent around him isn't.
huh?

I can't believe myself, but I picked Daunte!
Probably just a spur of the moment type of thing, but I don't think he would be all that bad in a run first type offense.
He has the ability to stretch the field with his passing game and could make good deep connections with Berrian to open up even more of a running game.
How hard can it be to hand off the football, or throw a quick slant pass?
Our biggest woes last year on offense seemed to come from our lack of medium to deep passing.
I don't think he has any desire to play here again (especially as a backup to TJack, nor do I think the Chill would want him anyways, but he would certainly be an interesting addition to the team.
Good ol' Fumbalina who can't read a D if his life depended on it.
Still think he is just as qualified if not more than the other options.

Played LB in college but was fast an a bit light, so moved to S.March 20th, 2008 – 10:05 AM by Judd Zulgad
As the Vikings continue to talk with quarterback Gus Frerotte, free-agent safety Michael Boulware is expected to visit with the team this week. Boulware played in 16 games (no starts) for Houston last year after spending his first three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. Boulware, who played college football at Florida State, did not have an interception with the Texans but has 11 in his career.
The Vikings signed Madieu Williams from the Bengals early in free agency and he will start opposite Darren Sharper. Minnesota continues to look to add depth at the position. Tank Williams signed with New England and Mike Doss won’t return. Doss remains on the open market.
Probably good depth at 2 positions...and Special Teams.
Huh.
funny about Daunte...I don't think it'll happen either...too much pride on both sides.Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!

Hmm, maybe it will happen if TEX find another backup they like.GRAY TO VISIT HOUSTON
Posted by Mike Florio on March 19, 2008, 8:00 p.m.
Former Jags quarterback Quinn Gray, who not long ago visited the Packers, will next spend time with the Houston Texans.
Per a league source, Gray will visit the Texans on Sunday.
The Texans already have Matt Schaub and Sage Rosenfels at the top two positions; Gray’s best bet would be to secure the No. 3 spot on the depth chart.
Unless the Texans are interested in revisiting trade talks with the Vikings regarding Rosenfels.
Last month, the Vikes were willing to give up a third-round pick for Rosenfels, but the Texans wanted a second-rounder.
As to Boulware, I was just answering the question posed above...Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!
