Gray is better with the ball.
Has lower fumbles and less talented WRs.
    10-5 vs 15 - 12

Sage had 1 game that made everyone fall in love with him ( 4 tds in 4tf quarter)
Take away that game and he has 11 TDs for 9 ints. He's not very good as Borat would say.

This is their eighth pick out of ten currently in their possession. They have been so aggressive in free agency that I’d be very surprised if they don’t spend two or three of these late picks to move up early in the draft. Even their kicker/punter situation is in good shape.

    I just loved that.
So I figured I'd include where it came from.
We sign Gus and Boulware, and we're looking good to draft BPA all the way through, and get the guys we want and need by shuffling around some.
    ;D

I know that Andre Johnson was out during Sage's run, and I'm pretty sure that Ahman Green was injured too...what I'm saying is Sage's 4-1 record is impressive because the talent around him isn't.
Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!

Did he go 4 and 1?
Besides what is the talent around Gray?

    Rosenfels had nothing.
    Andre Johnson was injured.
Andre Davis was still progressing and still relatively unknown.
Ahman Green was injured, and they had Ron Dayne running the ball.
Their O line is awful, yet he didn't end up leading the league in sacks like some other Houston QB i know.

Wouldn't the run game hurt his passing status?
You left out his talented Wide Reci.....Oh...

Sage was in a pass first offense with no run game and didn't put up the status he should have with such a large focus on passing. In run heavy offense a Qb's passing stats will be lower. It' like expecting TJ to throw for 300 yards a game.

Re: Examining the Possibilities at Backup QB for the Vikings - Who would you prefer?

OK, did some searching, found the Sage stats

    http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/players/player/gamelogs/2007/235151

Apparently, he was 4-1 in the games he started.
But, played in 4 other losses...

    I'm not 100% convinced he's worth a third.
Definitely don't want to give up a 2nd for him!
We could get Flacco, or Henne, or maybe even Brohm for a 2nd...but that's not the real reason.
I think our S, DT and DE value picks are going to be in the 2nd and third...and probably a QB later.

    Ditto on the Jags talent.
I thought they had a real chance at beating the Pats in the playoffs, by eating clock pounding rock and playing tough D.
