ESPN Chat with Gary Horton of Scouts, Inc.
Ok, youse mugs....
I been let outta solitary refinement, which I got trown inta 'cause instead of tunnelin' inta da storm drains, we took a wrong turn an' wound up in da septic system by mistake. I told Benny "Da Rat" his plan wasn't woith crap. He proved me wrong. We kinda smelled up da joint, so we spent da last few weeks gettin' fumigated so's we could spend time with da more cultured of da inmates here.
Anyways, "Whiner" Snidecki gave me some info ta pass along to youse palookas...
=================================================
Brian (Norman): Can you follow up on the Chester Taylor question from last week?
SportsNation Gary Horton: Yes, I did. I talked to some coaches and I found nothing that leads me to believe that he's been a problem. They've had a very good offseason and they're counting on him to not only carry the ball 25 times a game, but they think he'll be an excellent receiver in the West Coast offense. He could have Marshall Faulk type production.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Renee (Frankfort): Are the Bears the clear Front-Runner in the North or will the Vikings give them a run?
SportsNation Gary Horton: I think you're right on target. On paper, Chicago appears to be the front runner. But I'm not sold on their offense. Minnesota had a great offseason and I think new head coach Brad Childress will bring excellent discipline to this team. But it's a new system and a lot of new players have to gel quickly. I'm going to go out on a limb here and pick Minnesota to overtake the Bears. I think they're a little more explosive. It will be a very competitive two-team race.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just a few tidbits, I knows, but, dat's all we gots for a while, I guess. Youse mugs keep ya nose clean, I'll sees ya on da flip-flop."From the fury of the Northmen, O Lord, save us!"

Good find Muggsy. I think if we can keep our heads on straight after a tough opening schedule and continue to improve we'll give the Bears a run for the title.

Well it's great to hear that Taylor is fine... hope the early indications about him being out of shape are were wrong, or atleast they are corrected now

Muggsy
How much time did they add to your sentence for the escape attempt? Or did they feel the smell was punishment enough!What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Chester will be fine. Moore will be solid if he stays healthy. This will be some exciting football.
