Economic Prison for bad teams
The top 10 picks in the draft are economic cap prison sentences. You are now paying the same prices teams pay to keep elite players sight on seen in the top 10 of the draft.
I say the bills were smart to pick a lower rated safety at #8 last year so they did not have to pay him the premium that other positions pay.
The same system that was designed to create parody(and it worked in the short term) is now creating dynasty teams.
For example T. Will has a similar cap mumber to Randy Moss. Sad!
Here is a link with some nice stats.

and a link to a good idea.

How they did not include a rookie salary cap in the last CBA I have no idea. If this keeps up the draft will be disolved.

Re: Economic Prison for bad teams
it is crazy what these untested rookies are making..
and when they don't produce?
that's the genious of the front offices.. they must make
the contracts to reflect the best for the franchise..
the clauses in these contracts help protect against busts.. if they teams exercise them..
but ok.. look at R. Bush.. who was gonna tell him he didn't deserve $$
now.. if yer a high end pick.. and u don't produce... that's when the prison sentence starts for the franchise.
