http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/04/17/bengals-jeanty-signs-contract/
from profootballtalk
The Buffalo Bills have traded Pro Bowl offensive tackle Jason Peters to the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com.
In exchange for Peters, the Bills receive the Eagles’ 28th overall pick of the first round as well as a second-day draft pick in this year’s draft and a late-round draft pick in 2010.

Re: Eagles trade for Bills Left tackle Peters
this is ludicris... they just stole one of the best left tackles away from the bills in broad daylight... this is highway robbery!!!

Re: Eagles trade for Bills Left tackle Peters
Well if they end up getting Boldin it would have to be with next years first.
Who knows if the Cards are willing to do that

Yeah..they still have one first left but I don't seem them using it for a trade. I actually thought Philly would be the team to get Boldin.
Skol Vikings! Go Cubs!

either way, i'm mad we could have gotten our tackle if we had tried to trade for peters...

Just a thought.
Also, this might indicate that we aren't sold on going OT in the first round.
Or there could be issue with Big Mac moving to the right - do we even know if he can play RT, or if he would?
There is alot that goes into stuff like this, so I am not too worked up over it.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

IMO paying both McKinnie and Peters top teir LT money just isn't very cap-smart, especially when one will wind up on the right."bleedpurple" wrote:

We could use improvement at tackle, but that's just over-kill.
