Drafting Defensively or Offensively ?
I wanna know what you think. I personally think we need to draft both but more defensively. For example the second round pick from the dolphins should be used for a StrongSafety. To help replace Corey Chaveous. I am curious what you guys think.

I said the same as you vikingsbenchwarmer.. We need Linebackers and a Safety more than anything on Offense.

Re: Drafting Defensively or Offensively ?
We are clearly rebuilding and need to take the best player available reguardless of position.

I know this is a cop-out, but I think there are good opportunities on both sides. This year, you can't focus solely on either one.

Re: Drafting Defensively or Offensively ?
I am all for picking up Ernie Sims and making him our Strong Safety and not a linebacker. I think that would be very cool. I just don't know that if we haven't figured out our QB situation that I would be comfortable not taking a QB with one of our first two picks.
Four score and seven years ago, Brad Childress has brought upon this team, a west coast offense, conceived in San Francisco, and Dedicated to be a Kick jiggly butt offence. We are now engaged in an NFL season, testing weather that offense can get going or that our defense can long endure.

Re: Drafting Defensively or Offensively ?
this is an excellent draft for defensive players, the list is deep on that side of the ball. im glad we have 3 picks in the top 51 because there is a lot of talent that we can get out of this draft.
Im not really impressed with the offensive players in this draft. There seems to be a few that look like they will be stars but I see more potential on the defensive side.
I say draft all defense in the first couple rounds then draft oline and other offensive needs.
