I like Omar Jacobs. I think he'll end up being a very good NFL QB. I really don't see much of a difference between him and Vince Young, except that Young played in the Big 12. Both are big, fast, athletic guys that have funky mechanics. Vince has all the hype going for him though.
theyre the same, except young is much more athletic and i seriously doubt that anyones doubting jacobs' thorwing ability. true, young has all the hype because he played at texas and had a huge rose bowl. i think young will be another mike vick, which i dont really want. id love to have jacobs though. omar jacobs and ernie sims. i would be so happy if we got both of them.

I think Jay Cutler is the most likely to work out in the NFL. he seems down to earth and football smart, Leinart seems a little on the pampered side.

DJ if he's still there say by round three. No way I use the first two picks on him but if he's still there by the third round I grab him and stash him on the bench.

The bench is where he'll be his entire career if he doesn't switch positions.

I'll throw a name out there to watch, Charlie Whitehurst or Clemson

I think this kid is going to be a name that is mentioned often around the NFL in a couple of years.....

I've watched him play, he has nice size, and has some wheels also.

He has a nice drop back and gets the ball out rather quickly..

I'm really suprised I'm not hearing his name mentioned more, I think he's going to drop into the 5th or 6th round, I think he will be a steel here for a team that wants to groom him for 2 to 3 years..

You heard me say it... Charlie Whitehurst

He has been mentioned here and there. I agree with your comments about him too. Very solid player. I could see him developing into a solid starter in a couple years.

There is always that speical gem that everyone doesn't seem to notice. I think this kid is going to be one of them....I'll even say this, I think he's going to be a better QB than Young someday....

I'de love to see us land him in the 5th round.....

Re: Draftable QB's: After the Big Three, it's a crapshoot

I think Vince is gonna be a stud..

To me I think his only flaw is his mechanics.. Which will be worked on..

He has rushed for 1 G two years straight.. And is extremely efficient..

If push comes to shove he will be a scrambler which seems to work out well for the Falcons..

But I do think Vince will be better then Vick.. It already looks as if he is a better passer..

And no i'm not just looking at stats.. My best friend is a Longhorns fan and I watched quite a bit of them
