Draft Terminology and Hype Phrases
Here's the challenge; list the terminology of the NFL draft; i.e. words, phrases,
hyperbolic claims, etc., to see how it has evolved into a sub-culture of pro sports....
I expect some people would ignore a '3 words/ phrases maximum per post' rule,
:
so here's an alternative rule for people who want to make multiple entries in a post.... list words or phrases that have the same or similar meanings.
:P
Finally, here's one strict rule to avoid arguments: particular players may not be named/ mentioned as a means to hijack the thread into a debate over who should be drafted by the Vikings, who is a better hitter, QB, DE, etc.
Here's an example of such a vioation ....
"Monster.
When I think of monster NTs in this year's draft, David Banner and Frank N. Stein immediately come to mind.
So, you're wrong!
And ... "
OK, here's goes....
Huge, Beast, Monster

When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

When you require nothing, you get nothing; when you expect nothing, you will find nothing; when you embrace nothing, all you will have is nothing.
