I thought this was pretty intersting.

Take a look at were WR's were drafted the most.

Thats a really good find, looks like WR is a popular choice mid to late rounds. I think this year it will be slightly different givent the depth of talent on offer. But still, it shows us that there's nothing to worry about if we dont draft a WR with the first pick.

    ;D

    Another convert.......
    ;D

Lots of depth at WR in this draft.
Gonna be some gems that come out that aren't even drafted.
Provided links and scouting reports in other links.

Very interesting.....even if we do add WRs only in later rounds they will probably see quite a bit of playing time because of the vet WRs we have.

    Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!

Are we saying that no matter what reciever we end up drafting, they'll be starting straight away? Our WR situation is what i would call a shambles. I really think we need a vet WR to teach these guys the ropes before we can expect too much from them.

Although I agree with you to a point, I believe the teaching part is what we pay the coaching staff for.

Additionally, I am pretty adamant in a few threads with respect to our WR staff and how well they fit into the KA style of WCO that B-chill is trying to put in here.
    a.
    Quick off the line
    b.
    Get separation from DB.
    c.
Able to catch the ball (T-will still a question mark here but I have hopes).
    d. Can run after the catch.
    e. Big enough to take hits over the middle
    f.
Can block during running plays. (New one I added today)
    ;D

    Always remember and never forget.........

Just cause you don't know thier name, doesn't mean they can't play ball.

If we end up drafting the BPA at #7 and go after a WR in 2nd round, should we look to draft an underclassman? I read an article on S. Rice and they said if he'd stuck with it another year he might have got to the top 10 for 2008. But on the down side he might not be as developed as others yet and therefore not an immediate threat. But on the plus side could be awesome in a year or two.

Basically, my ideal draft is a trade down to something like 10 to get Patrick Willis and then Anthony Gonzalez in the 2nd round.
    Yummy!!

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!
